What feed products need to be registered?
Any product, feed or treat, which contains more than one ingredient.
Why do I have to register treats?
Treats are considered to be food because they provide nutrition, taste and aroma. Therefore, the New Hampshire Commercial Feed Law does apply to treats.
How much does it cost to register a feed product?
$75/product. Products produced in more than one size or shape only require one registration fee.
How often does a feed need to be registered?
Feed needs to be registered annually. Registrations are due by December 31st each year for the following calendar year. Products that are "new" may be added to a company's registration throughout the year.
Do I have to submit labels with the registration?
Yes, labels are required to be submitted for review before registration is granted.
Can labels be submitted electronically or on a disk/USB?
Labels must be submitted as a hard copy or on a CD/USB along with your application.
Who do I make out the check or money order to?
Make the check or money order payable to, "Treasurer, State of New Hampshire"
